Blue contemporary lounge

This open plan living room design gives a modern home new life. With fewer walls more light flows through but there’s less room for traditional storage solutions. Our answer was to design made-to-measure shelving, cleverly integrated into sloping ceilings to create an eye-catching display area. Discreet storage keeps the room free from clutter and the overall effect is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. It keeps the room free for relaxing and entertaining in style while enhancing the look and feel of the whole room.

Notes from our designer

We wanted to make a feature of the opened wall between the lounge and the dining room. Bespoke fitted storage in unusual areas like this enhance unused spaces and give them a beautifully practical purpose. The contrasting blue and white shades are fresh and modern and provide a wonderful talking point.
